Life as we know it.

Ok so many things go wrong in life and we all know it. I have tried for many years to make it all worth while. Though sometimes it is impossible. I have been attending school for almost two years and still feel as though I am not going anywhere in my life.

I am not having a pitty party for myself I just need to vent sometimes.

There is a lot in my life that I find to be wrong, I have tried to change them but when you are so use to what is going on around you, you find it to be impossible to make things right again. I have been in my relationship for 4 almost 5 years and I am terrified for it to be lost. I am scared to change it because I think it will change me.

I have a biological mother that abandoned me at the age of 2. She left my father for another woman. I found this to be a very brave and bold step. I have had a lot of respect for my mother and said she would come back for me and it would be soon. I am now 27 almost 28 and she just came back two years ago. She felt she could run my life and tell me who o be with and who not to be with.

I pushed her away, but now as time goes on I am mad at myself for that. I want her in my life even if that means she will act like a mom. I really need her to be my best friend rather than a mom, but, as a mother myself now I find that I am more of a mother than I am a friend.

I guess it is just that instinct that all mothers have, some just more than the rest. I never thought that things would go like they have but, I guess that is just life as we know it.

Hugh Heffner

Why is it that everyone throws such a fit about Hefner's lifestyle?

I have read all of the articles and all of them say the same thing, that Hefner is a bad man for what he has created. Well, we all have looked at pornography at one time or another. So why is it such a thing for them to place it in a magazine?

I look at it like, in the 1700's and on, most art that was put on display were nude women. The only difference was that it was from one persons perspective rather than from a camera that takes things as they really are. You can look at all of this art and you are not a pervert cause it is "art". Who are we to say what is and what is not art.

The only difference is that it is a new year and things are being taken out of context. People are making things that have been going on since before any of us were in this world and making it in to a riot. Then people wonder why our children act the way they do. You wonder why our children go behind our backs and try to do what they can to get their hands on these type of things.

We make the human body out to be such a secrete thing. No I do not believe that our children should watch porn or drugs on TV, but if we had the balls to sit down and discuss these types of situations then they would have no need to go and find things on their own. The human body is amazing and a beautiful thing.

For Hefner to go out of his way to make women even more beautiful then they feel, then who are we to judge. There is not a woman in the world that would pass up the opportunity to meet with Hefner.

If you would stop to take a few to talk to the women who pose for him you would find that they are normal as everyone else. As for this being because his mother would not hug him, what shit is that. Everyone who is downing this man, is doing it because they didn't think of it first!

Whos rent is late?

I have now restarted this 2 or 3 times and may restart it again. I was completely confused on how or who to complete this blog. So I am just going to do it and hope that my interpretation of this assignment is right.

Now days you have all of these different people and lifestyles. So why do you have to make such a big deal of how other people choose to live their lives? The movie/play "Rent" is know for its musical manuscript. Many people find it as a hard thing to watch because it involves gays and HIV two of the most down looked subjects our society lives with.

Though everyday millions of people infect themselves in ways that can be prevented, we still have it. In Rent it gives you a new look on things. It gives you a look into the people who lived it and the trial and tribulation that many people go through to overcome the milestones. Some of the milestones they cross are the HIV virus, and also being openly gay in New York City, and then you also have the homeless factor that they are trying to evict them from where they are living. Their friend was in the same perdictament and married in to the landlords daughter and told them that he would help them out with their rent cause they were trying t get their lives together. Well soon he turns his back on them.

They meet a man by the name of Angel he is a transsexual man who falls for Collins a professor who was let go for being gay. Angel then teaches them allow to love and be proud of who they are. Now I don't care what movie you watch anymore they all have happy endings. Well Angel passes and soon they all grow apart and go their own way. This is a play/movie that is based on real life and not just some script that actors are paid to read. This made a big impact on the gay community as well as those infected with the HIV virus.

I believe this play/movie is the one that made people of those communities realize that there is people out there in this world who are not haters or have hatred. Rent was a very good play as well as movie. I think it was more on a reality level rather than a happily ever after.
